About me, Myself and I
Hello and may I welcome you to my personal web site. My name is David Humphries (I would assume you you know that but I forget that sometimes :) . I am a Graphics Artist and but of an all round "Tech Enthusiast" currently studding at Coventry University.
PS, this amazing artwork of a stylized me was created by Noora J, a very talented artiest whom is one of the few people who have ever managed to successfully draw my hair!
Hobbies and Activity, or you could just call it what I get up to in my free time
Well my hobbies are mainly centered around my various projects however there's always time for my favorite few. After all what is life if you don't live it?
Using Photoshop, mainly to design a lot of different forms of media as well as everyday use.
Computers, easy to guess I know but even with all my enthusiasm I'm always an artist first.
Photography, its an expression just like a smile, to capture a moment in time and I really like taking photos. I have a significant set of archives I have put together over the years.
Philosophy is to question the world, Psychology is the study of us in the world, well no mater the there challenges I find both fascinating and enjoy observing behaviors and hearing points of view.
Sailing has become like ridding a bike, I've never forgotten and simply love being on the water,
Cycling is another one (bet you saw that one a mile off), I may no do it as much as I use to but I still love the wind billowing beside me,
Waling Digby, my dog who has gotten me to explore more strips of wood and grassland then I knew were around our home.
I also do large amount of digital media as well as web designs.
Well I'm not just here, I'm all over the web
You can also find me on Violent Lemon Studios, I am there Graphics Hand and designed the theme for the site. I also founded the mySST website, the site for my secondary schools Senior Student Team, when I was made ICT Co-ordinator in 2009. I also have a DeviantArt account, what self respecting graphic artist doesn't.
Education, You never truly stop learning in life
The Nobel School- GCSE's
| Grade | Subject |
|---|---|
| A | Art Graphics, Religious Education, Mathematics, Design & Technology- Electronics |
| B | Additional Mathematics, English, Science, History |
| C | English Literature, Science, Geography |
ICT was a awful course called DIDA from Edexcel, my predicted grade was a A* rather then the received U. Additionally I had quite severe medical problems that year that resulted in my missing around 3rd or more of school that year, so any result was good.
6thForm at The Nobel School

I dropped my Mathematics around 2/3 in to the year as I found that the Homework from this and my Graphic Communication course (referred to as Art Graphics at Nobel) became too much when combined and threatened on each others success. My Physics I retained however despite achieving a coursework Grade of B my exam mark brought this down when I flunked the paper.. oops :P
