Google Chrome OS

Ok, some of you will have used/use Google's Chrome but did you know that there have been plans for it to be an OS (oparating system like Windows 7). This vid explanes it dam well however I think it has something hiding.
Fact 1: All your data will be saved online. Its the cloud system (like windows skydrive) and if people use Chrome OS then skydrive will take a skydive. Ok, its intresting but it limmits your size of files (but dose provide a good backup, if your pc gets damaged your data is safe). This seems ideal for Netbooks. People don't understand that there only realy for web browsing and so that come to my next point nicely.
Fact 2: You need an internet conection. OK, fine for home inviroment and evenchaly the web will trly be wirless world wide but untill then your looking at the portability of your netbook down the pan as you can't use it anywhere whthout wifi and then your documents can become comprimed ower public wifi.
Fact 3: It brings the use of web applications center spotlight. I love web applications but the problam is you end up reling on your conection speed. I find more and more web apps better to use then some of the top range stuff like Photoshop but again, no conection, no pc as it were.
So how could they impprove it? Well I say have a setting that alowes you to same to your hardrive (thus alowing each conection automatic sincrinsation, but then adding more to the boot up time unforchently). Also have aplications saveable to your PC and so allow for offline actions. So for the mean time it looks nice if you don't use anything like save videos or lisson to mucis, and have a nice fast and reliable conection speed. But even with all this I sujectt that you install it on a partition and so have the opertunity to use PC or Mac applications. Ow well, plenty of time for them to improve it. Its not even out yet howver rember that Google started as a surch engin and is now a real thret to Microsofts empire, well wing in the net. The internet is googles relm, microsoft invaded, google bit back and stole compatition and now it invading the OS relm. I am injoying seeing them think more (MS) because Google are thinking so much there forcing other to.
